DESIGN FEATURES

The Burrell Renaissance, a £66 million capital project to refurbish Glasgow’s Burrell Collection museum began in 2019. The ‘A’ listed Burrell Collection, which originally opened in 1983, was built to display and house prominent Glasgow ship owner, politician and philanthropist Sir William Burrell’s extensive collection of artefacts. NetZero Facades unique in-house recycling capability was instrumental in being awarded the glazing package for this refurbishment project. Wherever possible, old glass removed from the Burrell Collection by CMS was sent directly to Saint-Gobain’s glass processing plant in Eggborough to be used in the manufacture of new double-glazed units
